I have been sitting in front my computer watching a few of these videos. You see my day, started of fine. Rested and motivated to conquer my day and then I found out my printer that I rarely use doesn’t work and now I have to replace it. Oh fun. It’s the little things that get in our way. But why allow them to get in our way, as they really hold very little validity in the overall picture and more importantly your vision. So I decided to get myself of red wine and just take it easy for the rest of the day. So the next time you feel like you’re allowing something insignificant to get into the flow of your happiness for the day.
Don’t get me wrong, having to replace my printer isn’t the issue- it’s the fact that I had to sit on the phone with HP for over an hour when I could really be doing what I really want/need to do.
- Reach out to someone and tell them how you really feel. This allows you to feel better and then you gain clarity.
- Don’t waste your time feeling sad. Just be happy!
Your happiness is the most important and it’s International Day of Happiness!
Cheers to your happiness and check out this.
Wait and if you would like to indulge in more happiness, check out this.
We all want happiness. I don’t know anyone on the face of this Earth that doesn’t want to be happy with themselves. Right now in my life I’m trying to figure out what my path to happiness is- I do think this a constant state, but I’m sure at some point we get the grasp of it all. I’m taking the baby steps, because I’m praying and doing my part as I know that God’s plan for my happiness is far greater than any career or relationship(s). Don’t get me wrong relationships are important and so are careers. But what’s the point of having these things if we simply cannot work on our own happiness. I’m not entirely sure the point I’m making here, but I’m sure there is a point in the mix of all of this.
So what’s your right path? Have you figured it out? Do you like where it’s taking you? I’d love to know what you think!
Keep pushing towards the path that you are in control of and not the one tarnished by others.
By the way, if you have not check out my e-book- Happiness or Misery , please do! I’d like to know what you think!
“The right path is the one you make yourself that leads to your version of happiness” – Pat Flyn
I got this quote from Pat Flyn, I have been following his blog for some time now, but mostly listening to his podcast on iTunes.
Just checking in and getting it together. 2014 has been good to me so far, I’m really looking forward to all the amazing things God has in stored for my life. On my list is to blog more which equates to putting myself out there more in order for me to get to where I need to be and as a result for my life to take the direction that I know is meaningful. Blogging also helps with improving my writing skills. I actually enjoying writing. Sometimes when I’m upset and feeling overwhelmed, I just find quiet space and start to write. Therapy is good for the soul.
In other news, there hasn’t been anything new in my life worth sharing. But I pledged that I would spend more time with the people that genuinely care and support me. Over the holidays, something really horrible happened to someone really dear to me. Thankfully, things are turning around for the best, because it’s God’s will. He sees and knows. It didn’t really feel like Christmas, but I was happy to see my family and reconnect. I think thats really important, as it reminds us that we need to be grounded and that we shouldn’t wait until something horrendous happens before we reach out.
But I think I have rambled a bit more than necessary. LOL.
Have a pleasant Sunday and a productive week.
Truth is generally the best vindication against slander – Abraham Lincoln
I’m definitely having a pleasant evening with a glass of red! I once red that there is truth in wine. There sure is. I have had one of the roughest weeks ever. But no need to dwell on that because today is a new day, an opportunity to be absolutely fabulous (Sometimes I look in the mirror and tell myself so). But I hope you all have a pleasant weekend!
While organizing somethings on my computer. It dawned on me that I really like taking pictures of myself. I have ALOT of pictures. I’m not conceited. I guess it’s just apart of the appreciation I have for myself. Ill share more pictures when I have my albums organized better.
